What we store

Contact does not require accounts, emails, or passwords. Your display name and avatar are saved in your own browser's local storage. A random player ID is used to keep you in your room if you reload. Game data (clues, guesses, scores) lives in server memory only while your room is active and is deleted afterwards.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of the site (page views, country, device type, how often games are created and finished). The data is anonymous and reported in aggregate. We never send your name, room code messages, or any chat or clue content to Google. You can opt out by using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
